My first blog

Hi,

I first heard about blogs when I was in my college days in 2003 when one my friend pointed to something interesting in another friend's blogs. At that time I felt that it was really great to allow people to express their thoughts in such an easy manner. There were alternatives as to make your personal website and post your views but no one would ever go to your site unless you pressurize them to see it or by the stroke of luck they land on your site. Google search will show your site but it will be lost in millions of other items and no one would do it able to reach unless they what it contains.

But still this is not a complete solution to it. Here by viewing one's blogs you see other people's blogs at the side panel or in the comments, your names in his friend list, etc and somehow this gives a much higher probability that a person will land on your blog and with an interest in the subject you have written about. But still I didn't join this community as I was very very busy in final year of my college playing various games available on the LAN.

Then after an year or so I saw my friend Gauraw Singh Chandel reading blogs. My first reaction was why is he wasting time and how come someone read stuff about 10 pages long, written everyday by some person. He tried to convince me a lot to join it and it is because of it and seeing him read blogs so many times, that I have started this to find out what is the whole point in blogging.

Finally if the person reading this blog doesn't have a feeling like "Why the hell I read this" then it is ok.
